We offer 7 acres of Panhandle grassland with many varieties of native trees and wildflowers that
host many species of birds including: Purple Martins, Quail, Mourning Doves, Rio Grande Turkeys, Songbirds, Cardinals, Woodpeckers,
Roadrunners, and many varieties of hummingbirds dragonflies.
Over 200 species of birds have been identified across the highway @ TPWD Taylor Playa Lakes WMA.
Evenings in mid November through the winter are excellent for viewing the thousands of Canadian & Snow
Geese rise off of Taylor Lakes flying directly overhead to dine and then return just as the sun is setting.
